A Short History of Halstead Farm
Since 1958, Halstead Farm has been family-owned and operated in 'Gumboot Country', Merville, BC. The farm has been undergoing the process to becoming Certified Organic, and began selling organically raised products through the Comox Valley Farmers' Market in 2008.

With the goals of sustainable farm management, humane and ethical treatment of animals, and of sharing these values with the public by example, we produce and market the best possible quality certified organic chicken, pork, lamb and bedding plants.
